This was recorded in the interior of a truck stop, somewhere on the road in oklahoma. General store ambiance can be heard throughout, but the real highlight is the electronic door chime that seems to happen intermittently, when someone enters or exits the store.

Also some light suburban neighborhood ambience (light wind, subtle traffic in the distance). Recorded with a sennheiser mkh-416 into a zoom f4 at 48khz, 24-bit.

Campus road traffic in bloomington, in. Multiple vehicles passing by, including a bus that completely stops with air brake on the right. Wet street due to rain, so tires squeak as they move. Recorded on a roland r-05 recorder.

It was recorded with a contact mic in anechoic chamberclock_02 is the same timer but was recorded with an external mic, and has a thinner sound, more like a wrist watch type sound. 4ch surround recording of the intersection of the opernring and kärntener straße in vienna/austria. The recording was conducted close range at street level directly at the intersection by a tram line, the rear mics, featured in this file, are pointing onto the sidewalk, away from the street, at a right angle. The close range affords very detailed reproduction of vehicle and tire noises, as well as the tram driving by the mics at the end of the recording. Recording conducted with a zoom h2. This is a sound of a mercedes benz 709d mini bus driving on a really hard icy road. It was a rattly old bus, everything squeaked and rumbled on it. I videoed this journey with my canon powershot a460 digital camera, i simply took the sound from the video. It's a good sound, it turned out well thanks to the winter weather, and the rough icy road.
